We are recruiting for a leading Financial Services firm seeking a Compliance Associate, specific duties will include; • Lead and/or coordinate responses to consultations from a wide range of regulatory sources (e.g. FSA, HMT, EU) to ensure that firms can influence regulatory developments • Review and advise the company on the impact of FSA Consultative Papers, Policy Statements, Rule changes, EU Directives. ABI Good Practice Guides and other relevant publications • Maintain the compliance database, regulatory rules map, internal breach reporting and appropriate record-keeping systems • Develop and maintain relationships with senior business and audit managers working to improve their understanding of compliance • Support the relationship with the FSA by helping to manage supervisory visits, co-ordinating responses to requests for information and input towards formal regulatory returns/notification processes
You should have a several years compliance experience within Life & Pensions and an up to date knowledge of COBS as they apply to this sector.
